How to Consign With Cloud Nine
Our consignment is a 50/50 split of the final sale price. We do not require an appointment to consign during the week. An appointment is necessary on Saturdays unless you are dropping off with the understanding that anything we do not accept for any reason will be immediately donated to charity. We simply do not have the space to store unaccepted items. Each consignment term is 90 days. Cloud Nine makes automatic quarterly payments to consignors, but will happily payout in between quarters upon request.
There is no minimum or maximum number of items needed to open a consignment account. Items must be in ready-to-wear condition, free of holes, odors, stains and pet hair. Any item that needs to be steamed will incur a nominal fee. We accept seasonally appropriate items. Consignors can use the contact us page to request a copy of our full consignment agreement.
We donate unsold merchandise to several area non-profits: Malta House in Norwalk, Boys & Girls Club in Southport, Homes of the Brave in Bridgeport and occasionally Person to Person in Darien.
